
Huawei Consumer Business Group has announced the launch of the new Huawei nova series comprising of two smartphones: nova and nova plus.
The Huawei nova is said to offer an outstanding photography experience with a 12MP rear camera that delivers fantastic photography even in low-light. Meanwhile, the nova plus includes a segment-leading 16MP rear camera with image stabilisation.
Both devices boast a category-leading 8MP front camera to capture better selfies and document the world in any lighting condition. While full HD screens, with the biggest screen to body ratio in the segment (nova's 5" ~70.6% and nova plus 5.5" ~72.6%), will allow users to see more of their on-screen content with greater clarity.
On top of the large screen size you will find microSD card support up to 256GB, which will complement the nova and nova plus's internal storage of 32GB.
Memory size is set at 3GB RAM and the CPU/GPU combo of both models comprises of a Qualcomm MSM8953 Snapdragon 625 chipset with a Octa-core 2.0 GHz CPU and finally a Adreno 506 GPU.
The Huawei nova series meets the demands of even the most power-hungry user. Featuring a best-in-category battery lifespan of up to two days, nova and nova plus balance longer standby times and powerful performance, giving you all the power you need.
Additionally Huawei's leading 3D fingerprint sensor supports faster and more accurate unlocking for improved security and convenience. The fingerprint sensor can be further personalised to control many of the phone's functions, including photography, so taking the perfect selfie is literally at your fingertips.
